In order to improve the emergency rescue capabilities of the Chinese employees of the Yongxing Steel Company. At 8 pm on July 1, 2022, the Safety Department of Yongxing Steel Company held a CPR(Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training at the company KTV.
The training participants were mainly from the production department, and the company leaders also came to the scene and gave deep care and support to this event. The training started with a speech by Chen Jilin, the safety director of safety department. Then, a KTV projector was used to play a teaching video of CPR, as well as a real case of a woman who had sudden cardiac arrest and a passing boy who rescued her by effective CPR.
After the training video was played, Yang Ming, the electrician supervisor, explained the common types of electric shocks and the correct ways to deal with them. Afterwards, Dr. Feng from Yongxing Steel Company demonstrated the standard CPR procedure on the spot. Dr. Feng said: "During cardiac arrest, the blood supply to human organs will also stop synchronously, and life will stop. The sooner the first aid is performed at this time, the greater the possibility of the patient's survival! And the earlier the first aid, the less damage to the body. For example, the damage caused by insufficient blood supply to the brain is irreversible!" The specific operation process——
1、See if the patient needs CPR
In the event of an emergency, it is necessary to immediately judge whether the patient needs CPR from the three aspects of consciousness, breathing and pulse. If consciousness disappears, no breathing, and pulse stops, CPR can be performed only when the above three points are met. .
①Consciousness judgment: "Tap and shout ", if there is no response to shouting to the patient or tapping the patient's shoulders, it means that the patient has lost consciousness.
②Respiratory judgment: observe whether the patient's chest rises and falls, and whether there is breathing action.
③ Pulse judgment: Put your finger on the carotid artery, that is, the position of two fingers distance to the trachea, feel it for 5 to 10 seconds, and judge whether the pulse stops.
2、Find the right position of CPR
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is not to press the heart, but to press the chest, so that the pressure in the chest changes, so that the blood circulates, and the effect of re-beating the heart is achieved. The correct position for CPR is the midpoint of the line connecting the bilateral nipples, and at the same time in the middle and lower part of the sternum, which is the lower half of the sternum. Compression here is more efficient and has a higher rescue rate, and it brings less injury and danger than direct compression on the area of the heart.
3、The right way to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
First, expose the patient's chest, find the correct compression position, cross the hands, place the base of the palm on the sternum, keep the wrist, elbow, and shoulder joints in a straight line, perpendicular to the chest , and press with body strength. During the compression process, the base of the palms of both hands cannot leave the chest and need to be kept close. The frequency of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is required to be 100 to 120 times per minute, that is, two presses per second are required. The depth of each pressing should be maintained at 5 cm to 6 cm, that is, adults can achieve the effect by pressing with greater force.
4、Artificial respiration
① First, observe whether the patient has oral foreign bodies. If there are foreign bodies, they should be cleaned up in time, then cover the patient's mouth with gauze, blow it, and observe whether the patient's chest rises and falls.
②For every 30 presses, perform two artificial breaths, which is a cycle.
③ After 5 cycles, if the patient still has no vital signs, we need to send the patient to the hospital, and continue to perform CPR on the patient during the waiting process.
After Dr. Feng's demonstration, the employees of the production department were enthusiastic and began to take the stage to do CPR exercises. Under the guidance of Dr. Feng, everyone successfully completed the CPR task. The employees under the stage also began to actively touch the carotid artery with their hands to feel the pulse. And cross your hands, try to press quickly, and imagine the scene of someone doing CPR.
Finally, the deputy general manager of production, Luo Xin, made a summary of the CPR training and encouraged everyone to participate in similar training activities. It is best for everyone to learn CPR. The group headquarters also purchased new medical equipment and drugs for Yongxing Steel Company to meet the medical needs of employees. The company will also organize more first aid skills training in the later stage to ensure that the life and health of employees are more guaranteed when working in Yongxing Steel
