After attending the company training recently about how to become a qualified leader, most about the human source management, it benefited all of us and it deserves a further thought.
The management course contented four forms: command, counseling, guidance and authorization. it was pointed out that authorization is best way for a manager leader.
In my opinion, the four type of management can be simplified as follows; command type( you have to do so),counseling type(you should do so),guiding type( you can do better if you do so) and authorizedtype(it is on you how to do this). And the four management styles have a step by step increasing process. The command, counseling and guidance style will play a major part for primary leader, and the authorized style will be less used. While for a senior or top leader, there will be a wide level management and most the time and energy is limited for the leader and it is impossible to do all the things by his own hand and as so the leaders have to learn to authorize with appropriate guidance.
Managing team is like on the war, different methods should be carried out by different levels of leadership.
If you are a squad leader, all you have to do is to rush in front and shouting: “brothers, go with me”, and everyone is coming with you
If you are a colonel, you have to learn to how to prepare the operation with direction to charge, not to go in front by yourself and take a bullet and you will definitely lose the battle if you do so. If you are a chief commander, you have to decide the plan which will be carried out by all your subordinate stuff. And know all the consequences without your movement.
Management method will and always not be the same, you have to comprehend while learning, and grasp the essence through your comprehending.
